2nd Annual Children's Grief Awareness Event

"Raising Awareness of Grieving Children"

Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Brock University

This event is designed to raise awareness of the needs of grieving children and the benefits they can obtain through the support of others


There are 2 events being planned for Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Brock University (1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way, St. Catharines, ON). Both events will be located in the David S. Howes Theatre(in Welch Hall). 

  


In the Morning  


Movie Event for Children and their Families 


Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm 

           9:00 am - Registration

           9:15 am - Discussion about grief and resiliency

           9:30 am - Movie starts 

          11:30 am - Discussion on ways to cope and door prize draws


Film: Moana - rated PG

Movie Synopsis: An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: her own identity.



Free popcorn, water, and coffee will be provided. If you bring your own snacks please have them be peanut free. 


Free gift bags for all children who have tickets. Gifts bags will include coupons by our sponsors, toys, crayons, Moana colouring pages, bubbles, Play-Doh, and much more
